Fast Food workers’ rally, Foley Square New York. About a thousand fast food workers, union members, low wage employees from other industries and activists gathered in the downtown square to take a stand against income inequality, low pay and poor working conditions. Earlier that day, fast food workers walked out on their jobs in 100 cities throughout the U.S. to call for wages to be raised to $15 an hour and the right to form a union without worry.
