A man’s permanent shadow burned into steps…

Dear All,
I am sending you the flier for our upcoming Art Workshop for Peace. Hiroshima should have six young artists (17 to 24) participating in this work. These artists could be visual artists, musicians, filmmakers, or writers — anyone with talent and a sincere desire to do something for peace.

If you know such a person, please send him or her this flier. If he or she is interested, please get him or her to apply.

I have another request. At this moment, the organizing committee feels we have to charge the young artists for this workshop. It is true that it will be a valuable experience and, normally, a workshop like this costs money. However, the Peace Culture Village strongly believes we adults should be educating all our children for free. We need and want them to have the knowledge, skills and desire to make the world a better place. Please help us make this workshop free to the participants. Please donate whatever you can to: Yucho Bank (Post Office), Peace Platform, 00980-3-203238

Now, I have one final request. Our young artists, with the help of Kuroda Seitaro and Cannon Hersey, will construct a fabulous performance that they will present on April 4 at the Hiroshima YMCA. Please plan to attend that performance.

Thank you very much,
Steve
