This mural was created back in 2004 at a time when the conflict in Iraq was intense and debates during election season seemed just as fierce. The image was a simple one but the debate over keeping it up in our town was not. This work and one entitled “Registrate Y Vota” came under much local media attention due to the themes depicted in the works. However, public support allowed the murals to stay.
