Ode To Michael Ruppert- Rough Hewn Poet oF The Earth

And so the crossing song was a call from angels,

and you knew your parting moment was nigh,

yes, you knew……..

loosed now and on the wing,

unburdened from the bonds that bore so heavy on your shoulders,

lifting off from a mountain lake, up and away soaring on updrafts,

topping the dusky mountain ridge,

a wilding spirit bound for wilderness,

tell us what you see now, rough hewn poet of Earth,

interlocutor of Indigenous spirits,

crier of GAIA’s awakening….

tell us in whispers of encouragement,

your burden now lifted,

tell us from that rumpled bundle of love you bore,

and threw into the horrors,

about the hope of deliverance,

the way points of transcendence….

across some barren desecrated ground,

what greening can you see for us beyond the charred wastelands,

longer than this present horizon,

gliding now, lighting down as you choose,

beyond to a green verdancy where a riot of seeds,

finds fertile sowing ground.

Well, winged one, fleet bound for misted places,

beyond the borderlands,

turn back from time to time,

remebering us who remember you,

and still take up your burdens,

that you taught us how to throw into the horrors,

always looking for that break of light in the dark clouds…

So, go easy rough hewn poet of Earth,

though you are loosed and lightly on the wing

some of you remains here Earth bound with us…
