Hi folks,
I fly to Texas on Friday and commence touring for 2 months! I’ll have played more than 40 concerts by the end of it, more or less in this order: Texas, Florida, Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark, Switzerland, Scotland, England, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, Quebec and Ontario.
There are at least a couple more gigs that will hopefully be added along the way, especially for the last couple weeks of the tour in eastern Canada and the northeastern US. I’ll keep you posted on developments…
I’ll be visiting Marius Mason in prison in Texas this weekend. If anyone has any words you want me to pass on to him, let me know!
Please share info about my tour with folks who might like to go to a gig somewhere! Your efforts in this regard are most deeply appreciated by me, and hopefully others as well. All the details are below and on the web. There are also Facebook Events for most of the gigs.
If you know anybody who keeps track of what’s happening in their area via Songkick or Bandsintown, I list gigs on both platforms (and they’re both pretty cool services for those of us who are chronically overwhelmed by too much data so we can’t find the bits we want to).
Also, after my landlord raised the rent yet again, I wrote him a musical love letter, in order to avoid doing anything more extreme than writing an angry song. After the Danish parliament passed a law yesterday involving the confiscation of any valuables that refugees have managed to take with them in the dangerously overcrowded raft that got them across the Mediterranean, I wrote a poem.
