Windsor, Ontario’s first ever 420 Fest, a pro cannabis rally held annually in cities around the world, takes place at Charles Clark Square on April 20, 2017.

The event is organized by local cannabis activist Leo Lucier, with support from CannaLube, Crop King Seeds, Cannabis Rights Coalition member Penny Komenski, and cannabis activist Sam Mellace.

420 Fest seeks to promote public awareness and support for medical marijuana and the legalization of cannabis in Canada. Featured speakers at the event include Sam Mellace, a federally licensed patient and grower who has been at the forefront of cannabis rights advocacy and is recognized as one of the most sophisticated and accomplished medical marijuana growers in the world (as featured on National Geographic, CBC and various documentaries).

Sam Mellace is also known for Affinor Growers Vertical Cannabis Grow Trial, a vertical growing tower that is being tested for growing strawberries and cannabis.

Thousands of patients and supporters, including those from cities like Toronto, Detroit and other locations, are planning to come to Windsor to hear Sam Mellace, one of the leading activists talk about Medical Cannabis and the benefits. People interested in learning more or who are fighting for the right to use Medical Cannabis are encourage to attend.

Additional speakers will take the stage to talk about their fight to medicate and how Medical Cannabis has helped them.

The event will also feature music, vendor booths, displays and a jumbo tron showing other 420 Fest rallies taking place around the world.

Admission is restricted to participants 18 years old and up with a donation of canned or dry goods in support of Windsor’s local food banks.
