Here’s a call out to any and all local Nevada County activists, regardless of their issue but who recognize that voting is the real key to change: I’m supporting the Unity Rally – One Voice event scheduled for Pioneer Park on April 30th. This organizing as a “voter registration” event, as well as in solidarity with our fellow Nevada County residents to Vote No on Measure W. We are inviting all local activists to join in, to have tabling for voter registration as well as to present on their own and other issues as speakers. Voters are the key to peaceful change – if anyone here is interested in more information, or to coordinate some participation. It is an all-day event with entertainment; but speakers will be included on our schedule.
